I love animals and wonder if alpacas could live comfortably here. summers are not too hot maybe 1-2 weeks get into the low 90's. Do those two creatures get along well? If I had to choose ONE...I'd have to weigh the pros and cons of both; I like alpacas for their beauty, their fleece, and environmentally friendly padded feet; I like goats for their playful personalities, their milk (for soaps & cheese), and their low purchase price. What advice could you offer me? Is it feasible - in your opinion - for someone my age to begin a venture such as this? But I have some secret weapons, 4 kids and a husband, AND a full-time farm manager, Jeremy. Jeremy does a lot for the farm which allows me to still be "Mommy".
