Giveaway: Day 11 – Alpaca Teddy Bear
We’re getting close to the last of our 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways. Here’s one we’ve been saving until the end: The Alpaca Teddy Bear. The next best thing to having an alpaca is to have an alpaca teddy bear. Our Classic Bear stands 12″ tall, made from unbelievably soft 100% alpaca fur! He will be the most incredible bear you’ve ever felt. You will really be amazed. These bears are unlike anything else and will last for many years to come. They can endure a lot of love!
All of our alpaca teddies are made from “guilt-free” fur. This means that no animal was ever harmed to make these products. The pelts come from animals who have died of natural causes. When impoverished South American alpaca farmers lose an alpaca, they sell the pelt so as they don’t experience a total loss. Each penny they earn is needed for them to sustain their farms. We would never harm alpacas to share in their fur.
These bears are hand made with great attention to detail including glass eyes and felt noses. They are stuffed with hypoallergenic stuffing, produced to meet the highest standards. They are durable enough to be played with. Each one is destined to become a treasured friend. Our bears are guaranteed to last! If their seams ever rip due to poor craftsmanship, we will replace them at no charge. We are that confident in our bears. This alpaca bear retails for $60. We have a variety of sizes and colors available from $30-$100. If you would like to give one as a special gift this Christmas, contact Katy at katy@alpacafarmgirl.com for more information.
The Perfect Gift for Anyone & Everyone, Including Yourself!

Oh this teddy looks so hugable. My favorite toy was my barbies. I remember not having many accessories for her so we would make beds out of oatmeal cantisters. Spice tins would become tables. Oh the imagination I had then.

I was just telling someone tonight about my cousin Kirk. He actually gave me my favorite toy. I loved all of my stuffed animals but the one that travelled into adulthood with me was my stuffed dog Homer. He was a farmer dog, all dressed in overalls and a farmer hat. I am a farm kid so Homer and I were kindred spirits.

I had a bear as a child. His name was Cuddles. I actually still have him, but he is locked away in a box because he was practically cuddled to death. He has no more fur and his “skin” is coming off to reveal the stuffing underneath and he has several patches where I have tried to fix him up.

Being a tomboy growing up, my favorite toy was a table-top hockey game. At that time, the players were flat and made of metal. I spent hours playing that game, and wore it out. Now that I’m older, I appreciate stuffed animals now, and think the one you show is spectacular!!

Well, it was a tea set but the cats I used as guests were not happy campers. The bear would make a better guest. Also, I remember a fur cat toy I used to rub my nose in while sucking my thumb. Sometimes, the cats would end up bald and I guess it kept me occupied so I ended up getting several. My Cat now has really really soft fur and I still like to sleep with her fur next to my face. If I win the bear my cat could take a vacation. The fur would stay intact because I quit sucking my thumb about 48 years ago.

I never had a teddy bear as a child. I had a big walking doll that my brother ruined by cutting her hair and putting lipstick all over her face. Yuck! I would love to win this cuddly bear for my grand-daughter though. So soft.

I remember one of my favorite gifts as a child was a really tall snoopy stuffed dog..it was about 4 ft. tall. my folks had to get rid of it when we moved one time and it tore my mom up that she had to get rid of it..so when I was about 22 she found another one like it and bought it for me..I kept it for a little while and then donated it to some children that did not have much. Another favorite gift was one that I received back when times were very lean for my family and the Salvation Army provided our Christmas for us..it was a tiny jointed porcelain baby doll with christening gown..I have kept that tiny china doll for 33 yrs now.
would love to be entered in the drawing for the teddy bear.thanks for the opportunity
