We visited several Alpaca farms up in Washington. Love them. I grew up on a Dairy farm in WI and love most farm animals. I knit with baby alpaca alot and I am allergic to mohair but I can make nice fuzzy scarves and shawls just fine with the alpaca yarn. Sometimes even the higher micron alpaca makes me itch sometimes but never baby. Also, my CAT loves alpaca yarn.
