We’re in the Natural Fibres Showcase!

Made from Alpaca, Looks like Alpaca
This year Camelid Quarterly asked Fiber Artisans from all over North America to contribute a product made from their fiber. This Natural Fiber Product Showcase 2009 celebrates the United Nations International Year of Natural Fibres.
Hundreds of entries were submitted to the Showcase, and only 60 were chosen. We are so proud that our alpaca scarf was among those included. Special thanks to our friend and the scarf’s designer, Maxine Brach. These scarves are available in white, brown, and grey in our Etsy store. There you will also find the kits to make these scarves.
CQ invites you to visit the Showcase and vote for your favorite item (maximum of 3). Please take some time to visit the showcase and vote for your favorite. If you would like to vote for our scarf (and we hope you do!) our entry is pictured above and was submitted by Katy Spears from Fairhope Alpacas (yours truly).
Camelid Quarterly will enter those who vote in a weekly drawing for a FREE subscription to CQ. If you win, CQ will email you and tell you how to claim your prize. Voting ends April 10, 2009. So why wait? Visit the Showcase and vote today!
If you view the showcase and vote for our scarf, please come back and leave me a comment letting me know that you did. Thanks dear Readers!
