I loved this collection of blogs and linked to it in my own blog-which is just in it's infancy right now. I love reading about everyone's fiber adventures and hope to have some of my own to add soon.

Please don't take everything this woman says about crochet to heart. There has been a crochet revolution going on! There are beautiful clothes that can be made that are not bulky and have flattering drape. While granny square construction promises endless possibilities, crochet also produces the most beautiful lace and an entirely new repertoire of fabric creation. Like anything else, it takes practice and more practice to master the hook.

I'm afraid I'll have to dip into my archive to find something fiber-related (been a busy week & next Friday I'll be out of town, alas) but this will give me incentive to work on some new projects later this month!

I just realized that I linked to my general blog address and not the specific pot. Sorry about that. I will try to get it right on the second time around next week.

Our friends at Dutch Hollow Alpacas just shared this link with me. http://www.youtube.com/user/mikeyssmail

It's a guy who teaches crochet with YouTube videos. He's recommended as someone who is clear and goes slowly enough for you to understand. Can't wait to watch some!

Here's mine: http://texasredbooks.blogspot.com/2009/04/fiber-arts-friday-book-covers.html

I love to crochet, but haven't done any in probably 15 years. Good incentive to pick it up again.

My entry is set to go a little after 10:00 a.m.; I've also posted a perma-link with the blog entry heading. Little by little, I'm figuring this thing out -smile-.
