No progress on my blog spinning project this week
Life and house renovation got in the way of my washing the yarn until yesterday–it’s drying even as I type. Did anyone catch Emily’s mitten pattern? It’s lovely.

Here’s another of my quilts. This one is still in process. Clock’s ticking between now and October. http://www.texasredbooks.com/2009/04/fiber-arts-friday-current-quilt-project.html

Glad to see quilts mentioned here – alpaca batting is great for warmth in a quilt. Shearing is process around the country. I helped at Pine Forty Acres last week where we sheared about 150 alpacas and several llamas. Great clip!

Love the video on knitting! I totally agree that it helps stress. I’ve done many crafts over the years but had gotten away from anything but working on the computer for the past 3-4 years. I recently started knitting and love it! Just going to yarn shops and poking around is fun for me too. It’s nice to be creating again.
