Fiber Arts Friday

I’ve been working hard to get my house and farm ready to put on the market. My friend Jodi made me go through my closet to straighten it up and get organized. You know what I found? I have a stash! As a newbie wannabee Fiber Artist I was so excited that I actually have a stash.
I grabbed all my various fiberlicious items and put them in see-through storage bins. I don’t have that many of them. However, I DO have a warehouse of fleece and gobs of yarn! If you haven’t written a blog post this week, consider taking a picture of your stash (or part of it) and linking it with Fiber Arts Friday. C’mon! Share that fiber-y goodness you have in the closet or under the bed…

Ugh, moving! I joke that everyone should do it every couple of years so you clean your house out. At least you found a stash of new stuff!

Love your excitement over your stash! How pretty it is! I have many stashes since learning to spin and weave since 1994. Beware it will take over your home! lol Then there will spinning wheels, looms, books, drying racks, ball rollers, skein winders ect. lol I have an electric spinning machine my hubby made for me and looms and antique spinning wheels and all the above too. I do remember the day I had my first stash! So fun! I am now knitting some scarfs again and spinning on my Ashford Elizabeth wheel. Wish I had time to take pictures! Been out of town. I tried to get hubby to go over your way when we were in Alabama. I guess I did not know you were moving! Where? Where? lol

congratulations on your stash! I have way more than I should admit to-and its true-it takes over and ends up in all areas of the house. but its so much fun to get an idea to make something and just be able to grab the supplies out of a bin. good luck with your move.

Sometimes it’s best not to put all your stash in one place because then you see how much you REALLY have ;o) Good luck with sale & move!!

Lady Katherine,
We’re hoping to move to the Chattanooga area sometime soon. Have to sell the house first. I’m finding it a monumental task to get the house ready to sell. Argh!
