Thanks for sharing this! I love horseracing, but I always miss the races. I’d forgotten about the miracle of youtube.
And was it my imagination, or was Rachel Alexandra’s jockey actively holding her back until the last turn? That was incredible.

I love this filly! I really wish they had run her in the Derby and not the Oaks. Being in Lexington, KY and working in the horse industry I heard a lot of talk before the Derby about whether or not she was going to run the first Saturday in May. I can’t wait to see more of her.
