Do alpacas smell bad? I don’t know if I could raise any animal other than my children. Very pretty shot though.

Heidi – They smell way better than most livestock, but there’s still a bit of a smell. Nothing like cow or horse poop though. It’s more like rabbits or deer.

They smell like sweet hay (you are what you eat). Only the urine smells bad as it does with most every animal, especially when it is hot outside. They don’t have a funky fur smell like cows or sheep seem to have.
