Fiber Arts Friday – Christmas Already?

Christmas Prim from Springtree Roads Shop

"Christmas Prim" from Springtree Road's Shop

I was already thinking about Christmas when Maya showed me this lovely yarn she spun the other day. Then it dawned on me that if you were making products to sell for Christmas you probably had to get them ready during the summer to have them available when people start Christmas shopping in the Fall.

I’ve already begun my Christmas wish list at Amazon. It includes The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Recipes from an Accidental Country Girl
and Make It Fast, Cook It Slow: The Big Book of Everyday Slow Cooking
both coming out this Fall from two favorite bloggers.

I know I’ll be adding to my wish list when I go to the Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair in October. Still trying to choose a spinning wheel. Since I love the chunky yarn, I’m considering the Ashford Country Spinner. If you’ve ever tried it, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Please leave me a comment.

So what have you been up to this week? Share with us in the Fiber Arts Friday Blog Carnival below. Be sure to let us know in the comments if you’ve been working on Christmas projects.
