We’ve Got H1N1

Yes, we’ve got it! This yucky flu has gotten our family down this week. The up side is that I have an excuse to rest and watch Barbie movies with my daughter. Click on the above button for the latest information from the CDC about H1N1 flu and how you can protect yourself and your family.

Get better soon! I went to the doctor today. Luckily it’s just bronchitis and upper respiratory infection. That flu test was no fun.

Wait a minute… You’ve got two different kinds of flu at your house? Did I get that right?

Thanks everyone for your well wishes! It means a lot. Its just like Alpacamundo (Kathryn) told me – this flu fools you. You think you’re getting better…then WHAM! back on your keister.
But I think we will all be okay.
And to clarify – two kids have it so far. I’ve quarantined them upstairs. One of the “downstairs” kids threw up this morning. Took her to the Dr. She does NOT have H1N1 or swine flu. She has something else. It seems mild thank goodness. Other downstairs child is the oldest and she is avoiding all of us like the plague (even more than the usual pre-teen avoidance – lol.) Husband has been dealing with his own health issues. Hope he stays well, but just described some symptoms…

At least a hundred persons in our city have been infected with the H1N1 virus. I was very scared to get infected with this disease during the pandemic..~
