Help Us Name the New Alpaca!
This boy needs a name!
His dam, Guardian Angel, was due at the end of July. That is the worst time of year for us 
to be having cria born down South so she stayed in Massachusetts to birth out. Her cria was born all happy and healthy this summer, sired by CCNF Royal Ring of Fire. I wanted to wait until I saw him to name him.
He and his mom arrived on the same day Phoenix was born, so most of our attention was on saving the newborn Phoenix and Guardian Angel’s son is only just now making it to the blog. I’ve been looking for name ideas for him. When I asked for suggestions on Twitter I got some great responses. My favorite was the notion that he looked like Colonel Sanders with his white beard. He’s kind of a Gingerbread to me, but that’s what I need you help with.
I want to get him registered so the poor dear needs a name. He is super bushy with luxurious fleece, and you can see there’s tons of it! He stands straight with nice, boxy conformation. I see breeding in his future. Please scroll down and vote for your favorite name by Sunday at 9pm when the poll will close.
There were some notable suggestions made such as Snow Boots, Orion, Onslow, Fergus, and Pudgebutton. But I had to narrow it down to five for you to choose from. Here they are:

I was thinking Gingerbread as I was looking at the picture and s.l.o.w.l.y. reading… I was reading slowly, because my eyes kept wandering back to the picture saying “he’s a gingerbread cookie!” He just looks so sweet, so ….. I want to say mischievous, but I didn’t want to steal DebbieQ’s word; but its all I can think of.
He looks to have the sweetness & spiciness of Gingerbread… so….

Instead of Gingerbreadman, maybe just use Gingerbread …. I like that too. However, I voted for Guapo because in my native language (Pilipino), that also means handsome

I love your Alpaca!! I voted for James Cagney because it is SO funny that he Looks like him to me and my hubby.
However, there is a candy that is caramel on the outside with white cream on the inside and we couldn’t think of the name of it.

Hope y’all have had a GREAT Christmas and NEW YEARS!! We are doing a little bit better. Hubby has gotten a few jobs and that is a GREAT Way to start off. Either way…hoping the economy is better than 2009. We are SO tired of the struggle, you know?

OMG soooo cute!
I can see gingerbread man, but Claude is what i thought of first, so I picked Colonel Sanders b/c it seemed closer to what I was thinking. SO CUTE!
