We had a Merry Christmas this year. With two mortgages and the economic climate being what it is, it was a smaller, less ahem, frivolous, Christmas than we may have had in the past. But it didn’t matter. It was Merry and fun nonetheless.

Being up very early was the Carodel Dona.

After a rough week with Beloved’s stillborn and losing weanling Ella, it was a wonderful surprise to find PHAR Lily’s new female cria, Merry, right outside the barn Christmas Eve morning. Merry Christmas, indeed! I am supplementing her with a bottle so Merry and I are becoming fast friends.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Alpaca Farmgirl and Fairhope Alpacas! Check out our special Christmas Sale, and don’t miss Tracking Santa on NORAD on Christmas Eve. I always experience a feeling of wonder as you see Santa fly over Machu Picchu, ancient home of the alpacas.
Over the weekend, we went to see Christmas in Lights at Bellingrath Gardens. It was lovely, and a great way to tire out the kids (and adults). If you want to go, plan to be there as it gets dark. It gets really crowded the later you go. Merry Christmas!

Williams-Sonoma is fabulous! I am a huge fan of this store. Their chocolate croissants are divine. We have them for breakfast every Christmas morning.
