It’s About Letting Go

I’m having a hard time getting excited about football season…
…without Colt McCoy.
Yeah, I know this is not a sports blog. But the Texas Longhorns without Colt McCoy is kinda like chocolate chip cookies without the chocolate chips.
And it’s kinda hard to get excited about his replacement. So hard to get excited that I’m not even [...]

When Bad Things Happen to Good Show Alpacas

Or Why You Won’t See Me At An Alpaca Show This Fall

Do you see this alpaca above? His name is Colt McCoy (named for the wonderful Texas Longhorns quarterback). He is one of the finest alpacas I’ve ever bred. I bragged on him.

Love this publicity for alpacas. And I [...]

A Peek into the Nursery

Pictured here are our Fall cria. Ice Cube (white), Eisenheim (grey with white face), Colt McCoy (brown), and Claire (dark brown). They are so cute and curious! They chase each other all around and play all day. It’s fun to watch.

Meet Colt McCoy

Meet Colt McCoy. He was born the day before I went to the alpaca show a couple of weeks ago. I knew I was going to name a cria after the Texas quarterback this year, but I wasn’t sure which one. (In the past we have had a Major Applewhite and a Vin-Sanity for Vince [...]
